Passed away early on April 20 at the age of 79, after struggling with the disease of alcoholism for a majority of his adult life. He moved to Seattle in 1967 from Stockholm, Sweden and worked here and in Honolulu for United Airlines and was honored as one of Seattle's top five voices by the Seattle Times for his announcements at the airport.

He was an avid sailor who competed in the First World's Cup held in Seattle in 1973, in his 6 meter boat Noa.

Gladys was born to Alf and Malena (Kjelsnes) Remme in Mohler, Wash. Her family soon moved to Ballard where she lived for many years and was a graduate of Ballard High class of 1943. She married her high school sweetheart, Russell Wilson, in 1944 and they enjoyed 63 loving years together.

They moved to California where they started the family that Gladys loved and cherished.

Remme Wilson

Terrence Dennis Humphrey

Passed away on April 20, 2007 at the age of 72.

Terry was a native of Washington State born and raised in Ballard. He was a 1953 graduate of Ballard High School. He served in the Marine Corp. as an M.P. at Camp Elliott in California, honorably discharged in 1957. Terry was employed with the Edmonds School District for 20 years until his retirement in 1995. Most of that time was dedicated to Woodway High School as head of maintenance. During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling full-time with his wife and pets.

May 24, 1915 - April 7, 2007, age 91, son of Swedish immigrants Julius Arvid (Johansson) Alberg and Hilda Elida Dahlquist Alberg, Tom was born May 24, 1915 in Noon, Wash.

He grew up with his sister June and cousin Ralph Renstrom on the Olympic Peninsula where his father had a logging mill. Tom graduated from Port Angeles High School at 15 years old in 1931. He later attended Western Washington University in Bellingham where he met his beloved wife Miriam Ann Twitchell Alberg who preceded him in death in 1999.

Joyce Crow, 62, passed away on March 15, 2007. Born in Melrose Park, Illinois on September 16, 1944, she moved out to the Seattle area in 1946, attended Ballard High School and graduated from Shoreline High in 1962. She worked at the Kenmore IGA and various Safeways as a meat wrapper for 24 years.

Donald G. Forsman was born in Ballard on Sept. 2, 1935, one of ninw children of Edward and Helen Lindberg Forsman. He died unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, on his daily walk in Discovery Park. Don is survived by his wife of 45 years, Syrene; daughters Britt (Rick) Hedges and Siri (Ricky) Forsman-Sims; granddaughters Emma and Olivia Hedges; and siblings Vivian Ojala, Robert Forsman, and Arlene Crane, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Don's family moved to Tacoma in 1947 and he graduated from Stadium High School in 1953. Don was an outdoorsman and an inveterate traveler.
