7:15 p.m. – Peter Hahn, new director of Seattle Department of Transportation

Peter brings a new style of management to SDOT. He has ideas and plans for making his department more accountable, more efficient and more responsive to citizens.

7:40 p.m. – Lighting Ballard Streets with LED Technology, Edward Smalley, City Light, manager of Street Light Engineering, and Phil West, City Light, director of Energy Delivery and Customer Service

City Light will be converting street lights on Ballard residential streets to energy conserving LED technology beginning this summer.

8:05 p.m. – “Communities Online,” Amy Hirotaka, Community Technology Program - City of Seattle, Department of Information & Technology

This project helps neighborhood groups actively engage their community members by using online tools. It was created in response to neighborhood and community groups asking for help to get online or to improve the tools they were already using.

8:15 p.m. – Proposed Enhancements to, Betsy Jacobsen, graduate intern – UW Urban Planning
