Similar to the law in Oregon, if this initiative passes, it will allow physicians to give terminally ill patients access to life-ending medicine. 'Guitar Hero III' Tournament

Show off your skills by competing in the Guitar Hero III Tournament starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 9. All players are welcome, though the tournament is played at hard (vs. easy and medium) and expert levels. The tournament can accommodate up to 64 players in grades 6 through 12 only; please register by Saturday, May 3, as we can't take registrations the day of the event. On the day of the event, check-in starts at 4:45 p.m. Spectators are welcome, and we provide food and beverages. Guitar Hero is a video game in which real humans face off musically against rock guitar legends to original music tracks recorded specifically for the game. Thursday, May 22, 7 p.m.: A lecture by University of Washington's Professor Marianne Stecher Hansen entitled "A Moment in History, The Rescue of the Danish Jews in 1943" will precede a screening of the film "The Danish Solution - The Rescue of the Jews in Denmark". In October 1943 during the Nazi occupation of Denmark, nearly all Jewish citizens, numbering over 7,000, were ferried at night to neutral.
