How Can I Get Information into the Newspaper? Let us know about your event by sending us a press release. Because of the amount of information coming into the newspaper, a press release is the most effective method of informing us. It should include what your news or event is; when it will occur; where it will be held; why is it happening; how it affects Ballard, and who to contact (include phone number) for more information. All press releases must be received by Wednesday for the next week's edition. Sooner is better.

Please don't get mad if your event is not published. It's not personal. Of the 400-plus press releases we receive each week, only a fraction are actually published in the paper. We just don't have the space. Thanks for staying in touch with us and sharing your news and information.
