Perhaps the premier recreational destination in Ballard, if not the entire city. The beach is famous for it's summer evening bon fires, kite flying, nature trails and off-leash dog area. The views are stunning, particular on cold winter days when there are crystal clear views of the Olympic Mountains. The park is also located a few blocks away from some of the city's finest seafood restaurants.
