Ballard Boys & Girls Club says thank you for work done on Day of Giving
William Rodgers, director of athletics at the Ballard Boys and Girls Club, wanted to pass along a message of thanks.
Friday, Sept. 21, was the United Way Day of Caring, when companies from all over the Northwest give some time to help local nonprofits and schools in the community.
For it, 30 employees from the R.J. Reynolds Company spent all day in the Ballard Boys and Girls Club painting, trimming, cleaning and working on several projects throughout the building.
The above picture shows one of those projects: the installation of a new basket in the gym.
"On behalf of the Ballard Boys & Girls Club, we say thank you for all of their hard work and dedication," Rodgers wrote in an email. "The club looks awesome!"
