Beavers Post Season Roundup: softball gets one more chance, baseball is out, tennis and track stars move on
Softball:
The Ballard softball team lost their first playoff game to Issaquah 2 to 1 last night. The playoffs are a double elimination tournament, and the Lady Beavers will play again tonight at 7 p.m. against Skyline at Hartman Park.
Baseball:
As reported on Tuesday, the Ballard baseball lost to Jackson High in a playoff loser-out game on Monday night, bringing an end to their season.
Tennis:
The Ballard #1 doubles team advanced to the second round of the playoff tournament on Monday after beating Roosevelt (4-6,7-6, 7-6) before losing out to Eastlake.
Track and Field:
After a successful KingCo championship meet, 16 student-athletes competing in the Track and Field District Tournament starting today.
