Beavers fall to Kennedy

For the second time in two days the Ballard High School Beavers found themselves on the short end of the lacrosse stick, losing 10-3 to Kennedy March 17.

The girls lacrosse team fell to 0-2 on the season while being outshot by Kennedy 19 to eight.

In two games, the Beavers have 24 shots on goal to their opponents' 47.

Juniors Jayne Barnes and Maddie Soukup and freshman Sophie Mora accounted for the Beaver offense against Kennedy, scoring a goal each.

Sophomore goalie Hannah Breton finished the game with nine saves.

Ballard takes on Bainbridge at 6:15 p.m. on March 24 at Bainbridge High School.
