When I moved to Seattle, Ballard was the first neighborhood I checked out. I had heard that it was a Scandinavian neighborhood and I'm part Finnish.

I am not one of the new condo overlords but I would like to someday own a house in Ballard because I love it here. From my travels around Ballard the past two years, it is quite obvious that I arrived in the middle of a massive change. I count myself lucky that I got to have a meal at 3 a.m. at Denny's and bowl at Sunset.
